Bereavement Group

Throughout our lives we all experience the loss of people who are close to us - as even a small child may lose a dearly loved grandparent. By the time we become adults it is highly likely that bereavement will already have been a part of our lives.

When the Time Together Group was started, people who had been bereaved in more recent years were invited to come along. The other churches in the area were told about the group so that their members could be invited too. Anyone is welcome to join us regardless of faith, and many of our members are not Catholics.

Meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of each month in the Hall Lounge from 2.30pm to 4pm.

In June and December we have a simple Remembrance Service (with hymns , prayers and readings) in the Church and this is followed by Afternoon Tea.

During the other months the meetings are purely social in nature with a variety of activities (talks, quizzes, Bingo, Music, Dancing, Beetle Drives, etc.) and tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits.

There is no charge to come to meetings but we do have a very modest raffle to cover the cost of running the group.

The group does not meet in August.

Mens Group

An opportunity for men of the Parish to meet socially - usually on the last Thursday of the month for a variety of social activities and discussions. More details on their page - Click Here.
