Management Sub-Committees

The Forum oversees a number of sub-groups with specialist responsibilities.

Finance Team

As a parish we must manage our income and meet our commitments like everyone else. To do so, a number of members of the Forum their expertise in finance and business.

These people make up the following groups:

Finance Committee (including Gift Aid)
Collection Counting Teams
Fundraising Committee.

Property Maintenance

Our church is the House of God and we want to reflect his Glory, therefore we try to ensure that the church is always well presented inside and out and decorated appropriately for every service. This involves the work of many "behind the scenes" people that are formed broadly into the following groups. If you feel you would like to join any of them, just contact the Parish Office and leave your name. Someone from the relevant group will contact you.

Health and Safety.

Yes, even we come under the umbrella of Health and Safety Law! Brian Thorn is the current Health & Safety Officer for the Parish, responsible for Health & Safety of the Church Buildings and grounds. He inspects the properties for hazards; tests emergency lighting, fire alarms and fire extinguishers in the Church, Hall and Lounge monthly, checks First Aid boxes and logs all findings and oversees the Health & Safety Executive recommendations; he reports his findings to the Parish Priest and the Parish Forum. He also attends Risk Assessment training days at Diocesan level.
